The Writing Center will be CLOSED on Sunday, February 15th in observance of Presidents Day. We will RE-OPEN with peer staff on Monday, February 16th from 4 - 10 p.m. We will open with full professional and peer staff on Tuesday, February 17th. for normal hours of operation.

The Writing Center, located in the Diane M. Halle Library (Room 126), has dedicated professional and peer tutors from a variety of fields who work with hundreds of Endicott students, faculty, and staff each semester. We offer free one-on-one conferences to discuss any writing for any Endicott class -- undergraduate or graduate.

The typical tutoring session lasts a half-hour, though you can schedule hour appointments if you would like. Together with the tutor, you set the agenda for the session, discussing what you feel are the most crucial writing tasks you would like to work on for a particular assignment.

Writing tutors do not edit or proofread your papers; rather, and as stated in our mission statement, our purpose is to help you learn how to improve upon your writing by finding your own voice as a developing writer.
